What I wore Christmas Day.

This is a bit embarrassing, but I’m still linking up because I like Grace, and I went through the trouble of these terrible photobooth pictures.

Our family does our Christmas-ing on Christmas Eve, and my sister let me wear an adorable LOFT sweater with my new red skinny jeans. And not ONE person got a photo of the red skinny jeans. Not. One. Anyhow, as I was getting ready to wear my NEW red pants- I was all excited with numerous options I’d brought along. Of course they all looked just…”meh” (to quote half-hearted Gabe) so my sister/stylist came to the rescue. Then she kept putting insane (trendy beautiful sparkly) jewelry around my neck as I did my makeup and hair. And she said, “Your problem is you just dont’ know how to accessorize!” And I’m like, “Um, no I’m not wearing that.” And obviously, I didn’t get to keep the sweater, or the baby- who is my nephew Cormac. He lives in Boston, where he’s holding my sister hostage in an overpriced loft that used to be a bra-factory. It’s a good thing he’s cute.  This is the only photo I got of myself Christmas Eve. It’s an iPhoto picture, that I forced someone to take. Anyhow, it was a cute outfit I think.

On Christmas Day I spent 3 hours in the car driving back to Columbus so I didn’t really wear anything that cute, but here it is.

I don’t know how to pose properly so I struck a fun one since I can’t be serious face ever.

And I tried like 4 times to get the Grace pose down but realized after take #4 that her pose is ONLY flattering on her. I mean really. After looking at these pictures I told myself NEVER to allow myself to make this pose (arms crossed looking down) in public, ever again. It’s like I’m trying to advertise my wobbly bits.
